JNF is the United Kingdom's leading humanitarian Israel charity.  We are non-political and work with people, water, trees and housing.  We raise funds for the building blocks of everyday life in Israel - the peaceful, life-creating stuff you never read about in the British media - such as reservoirs, irrigation systems, desalination plants, forest planting, recycling schemes, road, housing and healthcare centres.

We provide shelter for families made homeless by terrorist attacks and acts of agression from Israel's neighbours.  We help rebuild the infrastructure of their communities.

In Britain we run an education programme in all Jewish schools and non-Jewish ones too, so that support for life in Israel is maintained now and forever.  For many, JNF has been their first connection with Israel and the beginning of a lifelong relationship.  Throughout the year we run fundraising events across the UK.  Some are big and well-known like the JNF Car Rally.  Some take people out to Israel on sponsored initiatives, like Walk for water.  Many are smaller events organised under the JNF umbrella by over 50 committees that we support through our network of regional offices with our resources and charity know-how.
